Two days ago spaceX went public, and it’s climbing +20% a day.
TESLA, on the other hand, is up only about +1%. And on X.com, as if to mock Tesla, mocking posts keep piling up. Even the buy-the-dip queen, Sister Cathie Wood, dumped her shares.
And yet, strangely, it barely fazed me. Why is that,,?
- Honestly, I think this is a [realm of love-hate / faith] that words can’t quite capture.
- The FOMO coming off Samsung and Hynix used to feel like a fine drizzle, but now I can see it through a lens of love for humanity — for the struggling people of Korea and for reviving the economy. (How wonderful it would be if everyone prospered.)
- Back when Samsung Electronics was headed toward “50k-won Samsung,” even I couldn’t see any future in the company.. Semiconductors, phones, whatever — I couldn’t believe in any of it, and I scoffed. I even explained to my wife exactly why I was scoffing. And yet now that it’s become “300k-won Samsung,” aren’t people of every age and gender — YouTubers, coworkers, all of them — looking at Samsung Electronics through the same rose-colored outlook?
Here’s what I learned:
AI has shrunk the information gap to almost nothing,
but precisely because of that, there is a [Something] — secret, known only to insiders, something I can’t see no matter how hard I try to.
What I can’t do?
-
Person ; the caliber of those insiders (Elon Musk, Ashok, and the like)
-
Data ; everything they’ve shown so far (technical skill, execution, ideas, persistence, the vision for the future)
-
External factors ; wars, the World Cup, and so on
-
Analyst price targets, news, and the rest
What I can do? (Controllable)
- How long can I keep the faith?
= The exit timing I actually want (After 2~3y)
=> Trying my hardest not to look for the 2 years I’ve set, and holding to that.
= Patience
= Faith
= [★A long-term investor★]
= x-bagger
