The situation

Caught it by accident ♪ (spotted Samsung Electronics +6% on a coworker’s screen)
Walked back to my desk and pulled up Hynix → ~~and the envy starts setting in~~
Which led me to check the stocks I’d been sitting on → Why? → Started digging for reasons…
Then I ended up looking at my current quant bot balance too.
The more I look, the more familiar it all gets… → I start losing patience, and my mind wanders.

And in the end, it drifts the same way it does for most people..

You succeed only when you don’t lose patience and don’t let your mind wander.

Either never look, or look every day.
