It’s been a while since I’ve written anything.
As work piled up and my reading list grew, I started to notice how easily a sentence, once it came to mind, would evaporate.
The fragments scattered across my notes app — I want to gather them in one place now.
Why I Started Writing
Three reasons, mainly.
- To hold on to my thoughts — A thought that isn’t written down disappears.
- To keep a record of what I read — I want to set down the sentences that stayed with me, in my own words.
- To sharpen my eye for the market — A place to organize the insights I pick up along the way in my quant research.
We don’t write because we already know the answer.
We write in order to find it. It’s only in the act of writing that thoughts begin to settle into shape.
Rules for This Blog
- Post it even if it isn’t perfect.
- Post it even if it’s short.
- Don’t measure it by other people’s eyes.
That’s enough.
